Ancient roots. Global stories.
The Phoenicians sailed the ancient seas by the stars — golden ships carrying language, trade, and story across the known world. They built the first lighthouses to guide others home. We carry that instinct forward: the cargo is cinema, the wind is light, and the work is to bring storytellers and audiences together, no matter where they are.
The ancients sailed by stars to carry their tales across nations. Today, we show you the stars — as we tell their stories through light.
Tyrian takes its name from Tyre — one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities on Earth, founded nearly five thousand years ago on the southern coast of Lebanon.
The Tyrians were the great seafarers and storytellers of the ancient world. They sailed by the stars and founded colonies from Carthage to Cádiz, carrying their tales from shore to shore. But their greatest gift was what they left behind in every port: the alphabet — the invention that turned spoken stories into written ones, allowing humanity to record its history, its myths, and its memory across time itself.
Every story written in a Western language traces back to them. Before the Tyrians, stories were carried in voice. After them, stories could outlive the storyteller.
We carry that name forward. Ancient roots. Global stories.
Tyrian Pictures brings storytellers, filmmakers, and craftspeople together to tell the world their stories — in ways that connect at every level: the heart, the mind, the spirit, and the senses.
We believe the future of cinema is borderless. A story written in Sydney can find its audience in Jakarta, Beirut, Dubai, Los Angeles, or London. With internet, mobile, streaming, and emerging platforms reshaping how audiences experience film, our role is to ensure that every story we touch finds its people — wherever in the world they may be, and however they choose to watch.
We produce and develop original cinema. We co-produce with international partners. And we distribute through global networks — both established and emerging — so the work we make for the world reaches the world.

Born in Lebanon, raised in Australia, and seasoned in the United States — Tony is a writer, filmmaker, and producer who has worked on sets across two continents and built relationships with leading filmmakers around the world. Alongside Khaled, he is one of the creative forces driving the studio's slate, bringing original stories to the page and onto the screen. His global network spans Hollywood, Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, and his instinct for the international market has shaped the studio's co-production strategy from day one. At Tyrian Pictures, Tony brings both the pen and the muscle — the stories, the producers, the partners, the distribution. His mission is simple: to take cinema into its next era.
Born in Tripoli, Lebanon and raised in Australia, Khaled is a writer and one of the creative forces behind Tyrian Pictures' slate of original stories. His writing turns ideas into emotional experience — pulling the audience past the screen and into the chambers of the story itself. Working with Tony and a global community of filmmakers, his work is built on a single belief: cinema is at its most powerful when it is felt, not just watched. Thrillers, drama, horror, and the spiritually charged territory in between — the slate carries his fingerprints throughout.
